Audio Meditation Calm
Sometimes stress and anxiety can feel overwhelming, like a wave crashing down on us, making it hard to come up for air and catch our breath.
This meditation utilises a simple, timed breathing technique to help calm anxiety in moments of stress.
To follow this meditation, let your attention rest gently on your breath, being aware of each breath you breathe in, and each breath you breathe out. Take a deep breath in at the words 'breathing in', hold that breath at the word 'holding', and slowly exhale at the words 'breathing out'.
If you feel light-headed at any time during the meditation, pause the recording and breathe in your normal rhythm, allowing any sensation of light-headedness to pass. If you wish to, you can return to the meditation later.
